Paws In The Park September 2009, Hop Farm, Kent
Paws was a great success & thoroughly enjoyed by all, humans & dogs! Akna K9 Academy along with Canicross Trailrunners supported Snowpaw Store with a whole weekend of free have-a-go canicross & dog scootering, demonstrations in the main arenas of canicross, scootering & bikejorring & a canicross race. Central News visit Akna K9 Academy after Crufts 2008 held their first Cani Cross event. The winner of the ladies section Nina Pulford went to Racheal for help on how to train him. Nina was already a runner & Racheal had herself ran many cani cross events & applied this into a training program.

Akna K9's Dogs have also had their fame elsewhere... The Westfield Centre, Shepherds Bush, London had their grand opening in December 2008 & alongside people such as Johnny Vaughan & Lamar two of the Akna dogs Jerry-Lee & Vadar were proud to be part of the public opening walking around the centre with snow falling from the sky & a teaam of Nordic models. All dressed for the xmas festivities.
