An unusal edition to the Akna camp comes with "Bracken" a German Pointer. From amazing show & working stock she is hopefully teaming up with wolfdogs to be part of my Open Dog team at next season rallies. Born September 2009, watch this space!!!!!! Training is already going very well!

Sabre my GSD was a rescue from an RSPCA centre. Spending nearly 14 months of his life there & finally being refused entry to the Defence Animal Centre i took him on to give him a chance. Sabre has proved his worth in many areas. Trained at agility, canicross, racing in harness pulling a rig (wheeled sled), a fantastic guard dog & family companion he has also proven to rank well in the show ring at gsd breed shows. Not bad for a dog that was tagged untrainable, unpredictable & didnt even know his original name! Cheyenne was born Oct 2000. At nearly 10 yrs old she is still the first one out of the van to go for a run or ready for a race. She has been a real challenge, to say the least! She is my second in command (after me!) & keeps everyone in check. Cheyenne competes in canicross events, agility, bikejorrs & runs in harness as a lead dog. She is a super girl with great ability & knows everything a pack leader should. She loves swimming & is a very fit dog for her age & will bikejorr with me for miles & miles. Cheyenne is not only a great companion but a peace keeper, leader, nurse & entertainer. Akna King Of The Mountain is my baby boy! Not such a baby seeing as he 30" at the shoulder & weighs in at over 40kg's of pure muscle. He is an amazing dog with so many talents, if he was a human he would be my best buddy. A dog that can work on or off lead & has a 110% recall everytime, agility, canicross, bikejorring, mushing, visits with children, the elderly, terminally ill & people with dog phobias are all part of his cv. He also saves lives as he is a canine blood donor & sleeps on my bed every night! I use him for socialisation as he will never retaliate on an agressive dog & has really helped many dogs overcome a fear of large dogs. Vadar a Csv mix is a stunning dog with superb movement & looks. Working in canicross, bikejorr, mushing & YKC events he is a fantastic all round dog. He is also now a registered blood donor, the first Czechoslovakian cross in the UK to donate to help save other dogs lives!

RIP "Spartan" Poor Spartan was a dog i fell in love with when i worked at Greenacres kennels back in 1990. His owners booked him in for 2 weeks & never came back! He was not particularly good with men or other dogs & was 6 years old but we had a good bond & one day i took him home. He died of cancer 3 years after i had him.
 RIP "Rebel" Passed away 2008 at nearly 14 years old. I bred Rebel & had her father before her. She was pick of litter from 13 puppies!!! She was a great dog, fantastic character & i was sad to let her go. She also died of cancer.
